Getting data from Lotus Domino to Coldfusion Pages

I am developing an application that should connect to an existing system that is programmed in Lotus domino and read the data. My application will be in Coldfusion MX. I am totally blank about the Lotus. Can somebody help me?

I am totally out of Ideas as I know nothing of Lotus.
